2016 MEMBERSHIP DUES AND PATRONAGE LEVELS
Capping fees for guests: (Note the junior and pony club exemptions below.)
$40.00 – Informal Season
$60.00 – Formal Season
• Guests are limited to three caps per season
• The capping fees will be applied toward the cost of a membership if a guest decides to join.
PROVISIONAL MEMBERSHIP $1,550 - First Year
Members are considered Provisional Members for their first year. In their second year they will begin to pay the Initiation Fee ($1,000) which may be paid $500 per year in years #2 and #3.
INITIATION FEE $1,000
An initiation fee is required of all new family and individual members. The fee may be paid over a period of one or two years, beginning the second year of membership.
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP $2,050 ($2100 after June 1)
All immediate members of one family may hunt until they are 21 years old or at the discretion of the Masters.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP $1,550 ($1,600 after June 1)
One person may hunt. An individual may cap up to three times per year at $40/$60 each, but thereafter must become a member. Capping fees paid will be credited to a membership.
INFORMAL SEASON MEMBERSHIP $775 - First Year ($1000 following years)
Introduction Membership to hunt during the Informal season (July & August). If someone wishes to continue hunting during formal season, the fee is applied to the cost of an Individual Membership. This only applies to the first year of membership.
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP $300
Riders are considered juniors until their 19th birthday
Junior riders may hunt at half price ($150) for their first year
* Pony club members hunt for free their first year. A voluntary contribution to the Kennel fund is encouraged.
YOUNG ADULT MEMBERSHIP $600
Between 19 and 26 years of age, young riders may cap up to three times per year, thereafter rider must become a member. In their 27th year they will be assessed the Initiation Fee, payable over one, two or three years.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP $250
Social Members are invited to all Hunt Breakfasts, Activities, and Events of the Long Lake Hounds.
Social members are also encouraged to ride in up to three hunts during the season, at no additional charge.
In the first year
that a new social member joins, they may cap three times as a guest, and then hunt three times as a social member for a total of six. This option is
provided as a introductory bridge to membership. Renewing social members and guests are limited to riding in three hunts per year.
Dues are requested as follows:
April 1 1/2 of annual dues
June 1 Balance due
After June 1 - dues will increase by $50 for renewing members
• Membership dues include a sustaining membership to the Master’s of Foxhounds of America and a subscription to COVERTSIDE.
DUES ARE PAYABLE by June 1. After that time the price increases.
